* Yesterday afternoon, NWA-TNA sent Randy Savage home after a meeting where Savage requested that he win the NWA championship from Jeff Jarrett at the upcoming Jan 15 Final Resolution PPV. Company execs quickly informed Savage that it wasn't in the current plans and sent him home from the taping.
* Using WWE RAW as the lead-in for the upcoming Ultimate Fighting Challenge reality series "The Ultimate Fighter", Spike TV hopes the wrestling audience will stay tuned in following RAW for the Jan 17 debut at 11:00 PM.
Spike sent out the following blurb in promptional material for their January highlights: "This new 13-episode reality series, co-hosted by recording artist and model Willa Ford and UFC(TM), Dana White, provides an inside look at the process to locate, develop and train the professional Ultimate Fighters(TM) of the future. Coached by UFC legends Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture, eight middleweight and eight lightweight mixed martials train together, live together and compete against each other for a three year, six figure deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championships."
