- According to WrestlingObserver.com, Mick Foley is set to join the WWE SmackDown! crew for the upcoming Middle Eastern tour. He will not be back with WWE for the long term but is joining the company for the anticipated tour.
- In a recent interview with the UK Sun, Carlito Caribbean Cool gave word that a full-time in-ring return is still a few months away. However, the new WWE superstar hopes to continue appearing on-air with Jesus as he awaits clearance to wrestle again.
He also offered insight on his character: "I would say Carlito Caribbean Cool is my alter-ego - the complete opposite of what I'm like but also an extension of my personality. The writers saw the way I worked, my style and the way I cut promos. We meshed it together and came up with Carlito. We were shooting my first vignette and I spat a chunk of my apple on an old guy. It worked so well that we made that a big part of the character."
- Despite a solid Wednesday opening, Blade: Trinity has cooled off at the box office and is now only set to take $12-17 million this weekend, well-below insider expectations. The film's performance will not even rival that of Ocean's Twelve.
