- Paul Heyman was reportedly not present backstage at Tuesday's WWE SmackDown! taping. This comes after his heavily-reported absence from Sunday's Armageddon, and unless there is a reasonable explanation, does not give a favorable impression of his WWE status.

Heyman was recently removed from the writing team, although original reports indicated that he would maintain his on-air role and still attend the tapings. With two straight absences, rumors are circulating that he might be on worse terms with WWE than originally thought. Again, these are just rumors, as nothing other than his removal from creative is available from backstage sources.

As stated, though, there is the possibility for some other explantion. It should be interesting to see how this plays out and keep visiting this website for the latest word.
