Former WWE champion has filed a lawsuit against World Wrestling Entertainment, according to Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com.
When Lesnar left WWE following WrestleMania last year, he signed a clause that would prohibit him from having any association with another wrestling or fighting promotion.
The clause is in effect, according to the Connecticut Post, until June 30, 2010.
Lesnar left WWE last year to tryout for the NFL. His football career has failed and wants to make a comeback to wrestling, which he can only do if WWE were to hire him back. Lesnar is fighting the clause, in order to have the opportunity to wrestle or fight elsewhere.
