According to sources, Jeff Jarrett is in New York City today to talk with Viacom executives. Insiders say that Jarrett wants to get a clearance to bring TNA to SpikeTV and also take RAW's Monday night slot once the WWE-SpikeTV contract expires in September.
The Jarrett-Viacom meeting has been anything but a secret, once source claims that Viacom wants to send a clear message to WWE that they are seriously looking to replace them as soon as possible. This comes on the heels of WWE and Spike breaking off negotiations and weeks later WWE representatives met with USA Network to talk about a 'RAW return" to USA.
Things are about to pick up. If TNA can get a time slot to challenge WWE, it will change the face of the entire industry. We'll keep you posted.
