Many have been wondering why there is heat on Muhammad Hassan for his 'throat slash" gesture on RAW, given that Chris Benoit apparently does 'the same thing." Well the reasons are simple, Hassan is portraying an Arab-American heel, and given the recent beheadings in Afghanistan and Iraq, it quickly becomes part of the problem. It is also worth mentioning that Chris Benoit does not do the same thing. The gesture is done across his own throat, while Hassan held up Michaels' head and then did it across Michaels' own neck on Monday's RAW. Given the way Hassan's character has been depicted thus far, it is a move that has likely offended many people.

SunCoast.com report that WrestleMania 21 will be released May 10 on DVD.
