It is well known that WWE Management always felt that Matt Hardy was the least marketable of the Hardy Boys and never envisioned him in a top spot with the company. Pat Patterson, who was backstage at WrestleMania, is another member of WWE Management who was never high on Matt Hardy and always felt the Hardy Boys were a mid-level tag team at best. He also never endorsed any push that was given to Matt Hardy.
