With last night's antics on RAW, the consensus is that WWE would be crazy not to offer Matt Hardy a new deal. Although if he is not offered anything, he is likely to up his asking price on the indie scene.

WWE held a press conference this morning in Las Vegas to promote Sunday's Vengeance show. About 200 people were there. Most everyone was in character. Highlights were Lita & Edge joking they were going to ask HHH for a recommendation as to where to get married. A fan asked Vince about Sabu, and he said they've been talking, were impressed by him on PPV but have not offered him a contract, and noted Sabu was not in Phoenix last night. There were fans hecking HHH and Kurt Angle. Evidently one was large becaue HHH said they'd have to grease down his long handles to get him into the door if he was in the cage match. Another fan lost his cool at Angle and started swearing at him. Angle threw water on him. [Thanks: Shaun Daily]
