It is time to continue the road to No Surrender. Who will face Raven for the NWA Title? What influence will Jim Mitchell have on Abyss this week? Will we see anything new in the drama between 3 Live Kru? What new matches will be announced for No Surrender? What will happen with the new streaming of the show on the TNA website? Since it is Canada Day, how much of Team Canada will we see this week?

We begin with footage from last week when Jim Mitchell returned to Impact at the side of Abyss and his attack on Raven.

We are back and with footage of Lance Hoyt choke slamming Scott D'Amore followed by the HoytSault.

Terry Taylor is in the interview area with Petey Williams, Bobby Roode, and Alistair Ralph. Terry wants to know where the Coach is. Bobby says that Scott is in traction and he has wires and tubes inserted into every hole in his body. Bobby accepts the blame for what happened. Eric Young comes in and says that without the coach, they are screwed. Petey is the voice of reason and he says that they need to be proud to wear the colors. Eric says that they don't have a leader. Petey reminds them that he is the captain. He tells Eric that if he cares so much about Scott that he needs to go and destroy Lance Hoyt.

It is time for our next match and out first is Eric Young (with Petey Williams). His opponent is Lance Hoyt. Lance throws Eric down on a collar and elbow tie up to start the match. Lance with the Big Boot of Hoyt for the three count. After the match, Bobby Roode, Alistair Ralph, and Petey Williams come to the ring. Hoyt with clotheslines to Roode and Ralph, but Roode with a Northern Lariat when Hoyt Irish whips Williams. They work over Hoyt with a four-on-one attack until The Naturals come out to help Lance.

We go to the back where Terry Taylor is with Monty Brown. Terry wants to know how Monty feels about not being in the world title picture. Monty wonders how he can be the Frank Sinatra and Rodney Dangerfield of wrestling at the same time. He did it his way at King of the Mountain. He destroyed and dismantled everyone in the ring. He POUNCED and pinned Raven in the first thirty seconds of the match. He gave Sean Waltman an Alpha Bomb. He POUNCED A.J. Styles out of the ring, and then POUNCED Abyss through a table. However, Raven sneaks up and wins the title. Monty says that the disrespect of all of this is that whoever is in charge gives Abyss a title shot. Monty says that he will earn his respect. Monty says that he does not care if 3 Live Kru does not get along. He does not care if 3 Live Kru does not like The Outlaw. When you lay your hands on the Supreme Being, he does not have a problem. They have a problem. If you want to get at the Alpha Male and the Outlaw, they will be waiting. Also waiting for them is the POUNCE . . . period. We go to commercial.

Raven with an Evenflow DDT and then Raven gets the chain and wraps it around Abyss's throat. Raven pulls the chain and it sends Abyss into the steel chair in the corner. Raven gets a mic. He tells Abyss that at No Surrender, since they have a title match, let's make it interesting. How about a dog collar match if Abyss likes bringing chains with him? If the show is called No Surrender, make the match No Surrender. No throwing in the towel and no quitting. The only way to win the match is by pinfall. We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time for our next match. Out first is Simon Diamond and Trytan. Before the match, Simon Diamond gets the mic and he says that Simon has a problem. In addition to redefining the X Division, he is transcending boundaries. Daniels has already beaten Mexico's greatest luchadore. At Slammiversary, he beat two of the greatest American wrestlers. From out of nowhere, Petey Williams comes out. Petey says that Daniels has never defeated Canada's greatest wrestler. Daniels says that it is not his fault that Williams never challenged him before. From out of nowhere, Jerry Lynn comes out and gets between Styles and Waltman as we go to credits.

Impact Thoughts:

I guess we are not supposed to remember that it was only two months ago that The Naturals attacked Lance Hoyt at Lockdown? Speaking of Lance Hoyt, it is nice to see that they comment on how Lance's 'popularity' blossomed when the Orlando crowd got behind him after he was put in a singles angle.

TNA is doing a good thing with the interview and backstage segments, and it does a good job of explaining some things that happen during the actual tapings.

At least when the WWE has announcers making no reference to the matches with their commentary, they let us see the action in the ring. I think half of the Trytan/Diamond versus America's Most Wanted match was missed because of Jeff Jarrett's appearance at ringside. Is Mike Tenay the only person who is able to stand up to Jeff Jarrett? I sure hope that Matt Hardy decides to sign with TNA or they are going to be stuck with another 'make references to Scott Hall even though he is not in the pay per view match any more' situation.

I guess with Sean Waltman making the comment about A.J. Styles being naïve, it is a bit of foreshadowing about what might happen between Styles and Waltman?

Some day we might have a World Title match on a TNA pay per view without 139 stipulations.

After seeing Monty's interview, is there any doubt that they missed the boat with him by not giving him a rematch against Jarrett after Final Resolution?

Right now the card for No Surrender (as announced on Impacts):
Abyss versus Raven for the NWA World Title in a Dog Collar No Surrender Match
Petey Williams versus Christopher Daniels for the X Division Title
Samoa Joe versus Chris Sabin

BREAKING SPOILER: Matt Hardy CONFIRMED For TNA On SpikeTV Debut August 12th!!
