As promised earlier this week, "The Ross Report" with Jim Ross has returned to WWE.com today. Here are some highlights from the returning edition:
- JR starts off the column saying that it was great "to be back in the saddle" and that he missed doing the column every week.
- Ross notes an interview he conducted with Jake "The Snake" Roberts a few weeks ago for an upcoming DVD release. According to JR, Roberts doesn't hold back on anything and takes about many of his life experiences that will come off "ragic, perverse, disgusting, and surreal."
- JR noted that it was good to see Ted DiBiase being used in a behind-the-scene role in WWE and recommends young talent to observe tape of DiBiase's past in the company. Ross also brings up DiBaise's two son who are currently training with Harley Race.
- Ross said to expect to see several "new faces" on WWE programming on both RAW and SmackDown over the next few weeks.
- JR talked about how it was good to see Ron "Faarooq" Simmons at SummerSlam this past Sunday in Washington, DC. Ross noted how Simmons is doing public relations work with WWE along with Christopher Nowinski.
- Ross adds that he has "high hopes" that the new Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch tag team will do well on RAW once things start rolling. He noted their potential and echoed many opinions of WWE's tag team division at the moment adding, "man is the door wide open in the tag team division on RAW and SmackDown! for that matter."
- JR put over Chris Benoit and feels he has the ability to re-establish his presence on SmackDown and "bring more luster to the United States Championship."
- In regards to who the next WWE Diva posing for Playboy will be, Ross added, "You might be surprised. And it's not Johnnie Mae Young."
- Ross closes out the column answering e-mail questions from readers involving The Coach being added to the RAW broadcast team, Bret Hart's upcoming DVD, if Hart will be invited to the Hall of Fame Ceremony in 2006 before WrestleMania 22, Trish Stratus' return and more. To check it out, Click Here
