SciFi Magazine has a discussion with The Rock about "Southland Tales" which he is currently filming. In the film he plays a character named Santaros, a half-black, half-Samoan actor who has forgotten the past two years. Sarah Michelle Gellar plays his girlfriend, a porn star, in the film. The character has written a script "which he begins to see unfold in the events around him." Kevin Smith is also featured in the film.
