- Former TNA star Sonny Siaki reported to Deep South Wrestling for training this week. He was also present at Thursday's taping.

- The video clip of the Carlito/Shaquille O'Neal angle made the late-night edition of ESPN Sportscenter.

- HBK confirmed what had previously been reported — that his request for a match with Rock at WrestleMania was denied — in an interview with IGN: "I had mentioned me and Rock because wrestling fans haven't seen it, but he's not interested in doing that."

As has been reported, Rock's rationale for not wrestling HBK is two-fold. In addition to still holding the fact that he was mistreated upon entering WWE against Michaels, he also does not believe HBK was a big enough star to sell the match as a dream showdown.
