The name of MTV's new pilot taping wrestling promotion is expected to be called Wrestling Society X. The first taping will be this Thursday and is set to feature Sean Waltman, Teddy Hart, Jack Evans, Vampiro, New Jack, PJ Polaco (formerly known as Justin Credible), and Matt Sydal.

Joanie "Chyna" Laurer will take part in the new VH-1 series "Surreal Life: Fame Games." The show will feature alumni from the reality show in a competition for $100,000. Other names signed on for the show include Vanilla Ice, Ron Jeremy, and Emmanuel Lewis.

We can also confirm that Laurer is scheduled to make an appearance on the Howard Stern Show on March 1st.

Jerry "The King" Lawler took on Tommy Dreamer in a steel cage match this past weekend for Memphis Wrestling. The show drew upwards of 2,500 fans in Southaven, MS. Pictures as well as video of the match are available at Lawler's website located at www.kinglawler.com.
