- WWE will be pushing Dalip "Giant" Singh as a main eventer when he makes his debut on SmackDown!. He has been advertised to make an appearance on the post-WrestleMania tour of United Kingdom.

- Before management decided to put Rey Mysterio back in the WrestleMania 22 main-event, there was talk about having Chavo Guerrero turn on Mysterio to set up a match at WrestleMania. The idea was never used, which pleased many wrestlers who disapproved of WWE's idea to use Eddie Guerrero's name in storylines.
