TNA's New Thursday Time Slot, More On Shannon Moore & WWETNA Impact will be moving to Thursday nights on Spike TV on April 13, but the show will not get the primetime slot it was once promised by Spike. Instead, the show will air at 11 PM EST, following The Ultimate Fighter. Jeff Jarrett informed the TNA crew of this information before yesterday's TNA tapings. Although it is not a prime time slot, this move could actually be better for TNA, considering Thursday nights in prime time are known for having the strongest competition among networks. Also, following The Ultimate Fighter could help bring in ratings and it also takes some pressure off TNA to get strong ratings in a prime time slot.
Shannon Moore has verbally agreed to a new WWE contract and is expected to begin wrestling in Deep South Wrestling soon before he makes his way to WWE television. Moore's last appearance with TNA took place at yesterday's tapings. Reports are that TNA had offered Moore a 26 show contract at $500 a show but he had not signed it yet. WWE came along with a better offer and Moore took that. TNA was expecting to re-sign Moore, considering they just purchased the "Prince of Punk" trademark, which Moore will obviously now not be able to use in WWE.
