Scott Steiner/TNA Update, Backstage Reaction to TNA's New Timeslot

By Chris Walters on March 17, 2006 at 12:21 AM EST

- Scott Steiner did not sign a long-term contract deal with TNA. He did work the iMPACT! tapings earlier this week in Orlando.

- Jeff Jarrett's announcement to TNA wrestlers that iMPACT! will be moved to the 11PM EST timeslot starting April 13, instead of the 9PM ET timeslot, received a mixed reaction from the wrestlers. "It didn't feel like a b.s. session or a phony rah-rah announcement trying to mask bad news. It is better this way," said one wrestler. However, another TNA wrestler was more positive about the timeslot, "I liked the idea of being in primetime better. That's just me. It doesn't feel like that big of a change now."

Expect a press release from Spike TV regarding TNA's new timeslot soon.
