TNA News: WWE Threatens YouTube, Jushin Liger, Terry Taylor, More

By Triple A on April 10, 2006 at 9:33 PM EST

  • Jushin "Thunder" Liger will not appear at the TNA Lockdown PPV on April 23. He was originally scheduled to face Christopher Daniels for the X-Division title but there was apparently a communication snafu on the New Japan side and Liger will work shows in Japan for the week of the PPV instead.

  • Former WWE Million Dollar Tough Enough champion Daniel Puder was backstage at tonight's TNA Impact taping in Orlando, Florida.

  • TNAwrestling.com is reporting that The Red Rooster, Terry Taylor recently underwent neck fusion surgery and has officially retired from all in-ring appearances. Pretty big news. Taylor had been working the indy circuit over the last couple of years as well as doing some "backstage" work for WWE, WCW, and TNA.

  • TNA is reportedly working on forming a deal with video website YouTube.com to host videos for the promotion. This is in great contrast to WWE, which reportedly threatened YouTube with a lawsuit over their videos being hosted on the site. Little bitches.
