More On ECW Record, RAW In France, Lots More Inside

ECWWrestlingNews.com is reporting that the ECW house show in Glens Falls, NY last night drew 2,733 people which beat out the previous ECW house show record in White Plains, NY. We will be in Poughkeepsie tonight for the ECW return to the Mid Hudson Civic Center.

Balls Mahoney was in the parking lot with his girlfriend smoking cigarettes before, during, and after the show. The Sandman also made several trips outside for a smoke.

In November WWE Books will be releasing two new publications, one titled 'WWE In The Raging 80s' and the other 'Signature Moves'. The 80s book will be paperback and contains 208 pages while the other one is also paperback and has a total of 176 pages. Mick Foley's next book, titled 'Hardcore Diaries' is scheduled to be out in March of 2007 in a hardcover edition with 352 pages. Meanwhile Eric Bischoff's book 'Controversy Creates Cash' which is out in October has undergone an artwork change. It's out in hardcover and will contain 400 pages. (thanks to Colin Vassallo)

John Tolos told SLAM! Wrestling on Saturday that he is on the mend after suffering a heart attack back in the spring. "I feel a little better," he said from his California home. He hears from friends "night and day," as he has "met so many people through the years."

WWE has scheduled a Paris, France Raw show for April 24, 2007.

On 9/1, Sgt. Slaughter and George "The Animal" Steele will be signing autographs at the Columbus Clippers baseball game in Columbus, Ohio. It is being billed as hall of fame night.
