-- The USA Network released a press release stating that the network finished up as the number one rated cable network for the third quarter of 2006. The network credit's WWE's Monday Night RAW as their number one rated television show.

-- According to various reports, a fan jumped out of a ringside seat during a SmackDown house show and attempted to assault Gregory Helms. The event took place October 1st at the Convention Center at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR. Helms, Jamie Noble, Tony Chimel (ring announcer), and event security all took effort into restraining the belligerent fan. He was ejected from the event and will face possible criminal charges.
