The 1/30 edition of ECW on Sci Fi drew a final 1.7 cable rating, way up from last week's 1.5 rating and above the "average" the show has been doing in the last few months.

The show, which featured an appearance by Vince McMahon and a Royal Rumble Rematch between Bobby Lashley and Test for the ECW Title, was looked at as a big show considering the last 30 minutes of ECW was going head-to-head with the debut of Wrestling Society X on MTV (which did an impressive 1.0 cable rating going against WWE programming).

It will definitely be interesting to see the ratings trend starting next week and the months to come between ECW on Sci Fi and Wrestling Society X on Tuesday night's.
