The finish of the TNA Sacrifice PPV last night, with Kurt Angle winning the NWA/TNA title in controversial fashion, is expected to lead to him being stripped of the belt at the Impact taping tonight.

This will be the official cause of the split from the NWA Title to the TNA Title. The first official TNA Champion will be crowned at the 6/17 Slammiversary PPV in a King of the Mountain match.
