Chris Benoit's father, Michael Benoit, recently did another interview speaking on the tragedy of the Benoit family with WSB-TV in Atlanta. Several quotes has been posted on the WSB-TV website from Chris Benoit's father, one saying that Chris Benoit was "fine" on Father's Day, which was when they last spoke. Michael Benoit was unaware of any problems between Chris and Nancy Benoit according to WSB.

Michael Benoit said "There's a lot of stories we know have been fabricated", regarding the steroid stories which the mainstream media has been focusing on.

"We pray desperately that Nancy's family is able to deal with this situation," said Michael Benoit, reaching out to the family of Nancy Benoit.
