According to several sources, former Ring of Honor/Wrestling Society X star Matt Sydal has officially signed a deal with World Wrestling Entertainment and will be finishing up his independent bookings and then report to wherever he is assigned by the company.

Earlier reports indicated that Sydal had already signed a deal with WWE, but that was not the case.
