Mattel Inc. announced today that they have agreed on a deal with WWE to become the company's master toy licensee. WWE, who has been with Jakks Pacific for years, sued Jakks on accusations of bribery to win their last licensing deal. The lawsuit was dismissed in December. WWE's new deal with Mattel will not go into effect until January 2010 and will last five years.

Meanwhile, Jakks Pacific announced today that they have signed a deal with TNA Wrestling to become their master toy licensee when their deal with WWE expires in 2010.
