Backstage Report – Rey Mysterio Returning To AAA

According to sources, Rey Mysterio will be returning to AAA as all of the financial issues between the two sides have been settled. Mysterio still has two more dates left on the original contract he signed, and is now expected to make those appearances.

At this time there is no confirmation that he will work more dates than that, but AAA wants to keep the relationship with him because they’ve lost so much talent and Rey has a lot of star power. AAA would like to use Mysterio, schedule wise, like WWE uses Brock Lesnar.
