Major Spoiler Regarding Alberto El Patron at Impact Wrestling Tapings

Alberto El Patron (Alberto Del Rio) made his Impact Wrestling debut at tonight’s TV taping, which will air on March 9. It was reported earlier today that he has reached a deal to come on full time with Impact Wrestling.

Alberto defeated Bobby Lashley to possibly become the NEW Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, though there was an ambiguous finish with ref bumps and officials coming out to discuss the result of the match. However, before any decision was made, Alberto walked off with the title, so looks like there will be some controversy for the next show, which will be taped tomorrow.

Bruce says it is important to know the face of the company, and brings out Bobby Lashley. Lashley says he has beat everyone and was the official choice of the President of the United States. Bruce says he doesn’t know if anyone on the Impact roster can beat Lashley, out comes Alberto El Patron.

EC3 out now. EC3 says Alberto needs to earn his shot, and EC3 has carried the company for years on his perfectly symmetrical back. Lashley says EC3 lost to him already and won’t get a shot, Lashley and Alberto will wrestle tonight!

2 ref bumps and probably a dusty finish… Hebner and Stiffler fighting over who the champion is, Earl out to settle this. Bruce Prichard and other Impact officials out to try and figure this out. Alberto is leaving with the belt.

It also seems like Impact may have possibly screwed up Alberto El Patron’s name. When he first entered, the screen behind him said “Alberto De Patron” but later in the night, it was changed to “Alberto El Patron” (which is the name he has been using in indy feds).
