Before the taping, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer proclaims Wednesday July 5th, 2017 as Impact Wrestling Day in the city of Orlando. Dyer was wearing an Impact shirt. A survivor from the Pulse nightclub massacre was also in the ring.

The storyline for Grado is that he’s overstayed his welcome and needs to get married to remain in the United States. My boyfriend thinks this has to be leading to a wedding with ODB, or else, what’s the point? They re-filmed the segment where Grado was trying to romance Laurel Van Ness.

EC3 & Eli Drake & Chris Adonis defeated Naomichi Marufuji & Eddie Edwards & Moose

Mayor Buddy Dyer was the ring announcer.

GFW Women’s champion Sienna defeated Amber Nova

They retaped this match from last night’s tapings.

X Cup Tournament: Taiji Ishimora defeated Davey Richards

In-Ring: Lashley and Matt Sydal

Bobby Lashley demanded a title shot at Destination X and stated that anyone who tries to get a title shot will be dealt with by him. Matt Sydal confronted him and avoided a spear, hitting a shooting star press on him.

GFW Women’s champion Sienna defeated Rosemary in a Last Woman Standing match

Octagoncito defeated Trevor Lee by countout

Sonjay Dutt tried to get his belt back but Lee escaped through the crowd.

In-Ring: Grado, Laurel Van Ness, Kongo Kong

Grado called out Lauren Van Ness asking her to marry him. Kongo Kong comes out to menace Grado.

Xplosion: El Hijo de Dos Caras defeated Mario Bokara

In an Xplosion match, El Hijo de Dos Caras makes his in-ring debut for the company, pinning Mario Bokara.

Super X Cup Tournament: Dezmond Xavier defeated Drago

One of the Mumbai Cats defeated Trevor Lee

One of the Mumbai Cats defeated Trevor Lee, then unmasked to reveal Sonjay Dutt. This sets up a ladder match for the X-Division title on 8/17.

They announced Eddie Edwards vs. Eli Drake but Kongo Kong laid out Edwards in the locker room.

EC3 defeated Moose via split decision to become the new GFW Grand championship

GFW Champion Alberto El Patron defeated LAX

Alberto won by DQ in a Gauntlet when LAX all ganged up on him. Alberto’s brother, father and Veterans of War made the save.
