Cedric Alexander & Gran Metalik defeated Tony Nese & Drew Gulak

Nese posed and Alexander responded with a shrug. Dueling leapfrogs led to dueling arm drags and dueling one counts. Gulak and Metalik then went at it, with Metalik getting the better of him with a wacky lucha arm drag off the ropes. Metalik got run down by Gulak, which got two. Nese tagged in and punched Metalik before sending him into the corner and superkicking him to the mat. Nese went outside and Metalik dove onto him with a ropewalk moonsault. Metalik sprung into the ring, but Nese hit a gutbuster. Nese went for a superplex, but he got crotched and ate a ropewalk rana. Alexander came in and landed a corner crossbody to Gulak. Alexander followed with a back elbow before a handspring high kick got two. Alexander hit Nese with the springboard lariat and the Lumbar Check to give his team the win.

Backstage: Noam Dar, Ariya Daivari, Lince Dorado, Neville

Noam Dar, Ariya Daivari, and Lince Dorado talked smack about Neville…until he showed up and they left in fear. Neville tossed a chair into unseen clangy metal pipes.

The Brian Kendrick defeated Mustafa Ali by DQ

Ali hit a dropkick on Kendrick for two. Kendrick responded with a nasty back elbow, but Ali landed a moonsault block for a near fall. An apron high kick from Ali sent Kendrick down and a blockbuster got two. Kendrick hit a sunset flip, but Ali flipped through with a seated dropkick. Ali went for the inverted 450, but Kendrick sent his jaw into the turnbuckle. Kendrick flipped him into the Captain’s Hook, but Ali got to the rope after a long struggle. They brawled on the floor and Kendrick sent Ali into the apron LED board before using the steps to execute a heel hook. Kendrick went to do more damage, but Jack Gallagher made the save and attacked him for the disqualification. Gallagher beat the tar out of Kendrick and sent him packing.

Ariya Daivari defeated Rich Swann

Dasha Fuentes talked over Gallagher’s music before she interviewed Rich Swann about wanting to beat TJP tonight. Swann said that he’ll rub his win in TJP’s face. Daivari said that TJP is out and he will be Swann’s new opponent. Daivari came out for his impromptu match with Swann.

Swann started things off with a long grounded headlock. They battled on the floor and Daivari drove Swann’s head into the apron. Daivari missed a frog splash, then Swann hit the spin kick and went for a moonsault, but TJP’s theme interrupted. TJP entered on crutches and with a giant knee brace, which led to Swann eating the hammerlock lariat from Daivari and losing.

Backstage: The Brian Kendrick

Kendrick went to leave the arena as some weird VHS-style tracking errors came up. Kendrick was acting nervous and said maybe he needs to do things Gallagher’s way. He challenged Gallagher to a duel next week.

In-Ring: Titus O’Neil, Akira Tozawa, Neville

O’Neil made his way down and said that this man needs no introduction — but he’s getting one anyway! The drum roll brought out Tozawa running to the ring in a slick suit. Tozawa said this was his dream for many years as O’Neil drank his champagne. O’Neil thanked him and got a what chant, so O’Neil said it’s time to celebrate Titus Worldwide style before Neville interrupted.

Neville said that his gift tonight is a countdown to Tozawa’s demise — Tozawa has 114 hours left with his championship, so he should savor every second. A brawl broke out while O’Neil talked about how they need to save it for Sunday. Tozawa sent Neville to the floor and hit a suicide dive.
