Bound for Glory Match Canceled (Updated With Reason)

Impact announced that the Rosemary vs. Taya Valkyrie “first blood” match at Bound for Glory tomorrow has been canceled “due to circumstances beyond [their] control.” Taya Valkyrie will not be at the event or the TV tapings next week in Ottawa, meaning she will be off of Impact TV until at least January.

On Twitter, a devastated Taya Valkyrie said that she couldn’t be there due to “personal reasons” but vowed that her match against Rosemary will take place in January.

Update: According to PWInsider, Impact decided to remove her from the card out of fear that she could run into problems returning to the US from Canada. She was born in Canada, so she would have no problem getting in, but Impact was concerned that her return to the US could be complicated since she has yet to receive permanent residency. She is currently engaged to Johnny Impact, who is facing Eli Drake for the Global Championship on the card.

Nothing has been announced about Rosemary. The triple threat Knockouts Championship match was originally supposed to be a four-way match, but Taryn Terrell left Impact a couple of weeks ago and was removed from the match. An obvious possibility would be to add Rosemary to that match.
