Sting on Undertaker, RAW Star He Would Help, WWE Hall of Fame, More

Last weekend’s Wales Comic Con held in Wrexham included a Q&A fan event with Sting as the guest. Several questions answered by Sting included wanting his last match to be against Undertaker, which RAW star he would want to help the most, being in the WWE Hall of Fame, and more.

When asked about wanting to have one more match in his career, Sting denied rumors of delaying his neck surgery due to wanting to have a retirement match done first. He did reveal he wants The Undertaker to be his opponent for a potential retirement match.

“I have never said ‘one more match’ ever. I’d like to have one more match, I’d like to have that Undertaker match. The only reason I held off on the surgery is because I had guys like Stone Cold saying don’t do it. I don’t have any side effects? I can still work out and it doesn’t bother me, I don’t get a sore neck from sleeping or anything so why would I get surgery? If you don’t need it, don’t do it.”

When asked about a possible return to the WWE, Sting stated he would want to be either the Joker Sting or Crow Sting character for a potential return run. Sting also mentioned Crow Sting being his favorite character from his career.

“I can’t pull off Surfer Sting anymore as I don’t have enough hair on my head. Probably Crow Sting or Joker Sting.”

When asked who from RAW he would want to help the most if asked by the WWE, Sting mentioned Bray Wyatt as his choice.

“Bray Wyatt, I like him. I know he’s not young but he has character, it’s kinda old school and I like that.”

On the topic of WWE’s Hall of Fame, Sting stated he is very glad to be a member of WWE’s Hall and had a great time during the night of his induction.

“It’s amazing! I never thought it would happen, when it did it was a great night. I am very glad to call myself a Hall of Famer.”

When asked several questions about his match against Triple H at Wrestlemania 31, Sting stated he had no complaints with how the match was done nor feels the need for a rematch to happen.

“No. I have no complaints. It was WrestleMania. You had DX, you had the NWO. It was surreal. A great moment and great memories. No complaints from me.”

“I think we got everything out in that match. I don’t think there was a need for it. We both got everything out in that one match.”

On the topic of the plans with Seth Rollins, Sting stated he didn’t think the WWE had any real plans for their feud and Sting was more concerned about wanting to have a match with the Undertaker while in the WWE.

“I don’t know, I don’t think they really had any plans to be honest. I had my plans, I wanted that match with Taker and would have done my best to make it happen.”
