Rumor: Another Total Divas Spinoff Show Being Considered for Production

Another Total Divas spin-off show is currently rumored to be considered for production, according to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson.

Johnson reported there have been talks for a show called “The It Couple” to be made based on The Miz and Maryse’s lives. The cast for this proposed new television series is also rumored to include Dolph Ziggler, musician Ryan Cabrera, Maryse’s best friend from Total Divas, and Maryse’s mother.


Early 2018’s New Content for the WWE Network

WWE recently revealed some of the new content arriving for the WWE Network during early 2018. This includes a new collection set based on RAW’s 25th Anniversary arriving in January, the debut of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling for the Network’s classic wrestling section, and two new collection sets arriving during the month of February.

In regards to the RAW 25th Anniversary collection set, this will be a countdown of the Top 100 moments in RAW history broken down into four episodes. In regards to Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, ten episodes from 1981-1983 will be available on its Network debut. February’s new collection sets were revealed to be one set based on Celebrating Black History and the other based on Alexa Bliss.

Another Potential Sign of XFL’s Revival

In another potential sign of the revival of the XFL, the league’s official website http://xfl.com/ no longer redirects to WWE’s official website and instead now displays a “Page Not Found” page.

In regards to Vince McMahon’s recently sale of around $100 million worth in WWE stocks, investors appear to be slightly worried as WWE’s stocks declined by $2.32 per share since Vince’s sale. They might be a bit worried the potential revival of the league could hurt WWE’s profits as was the case during the 2000-2001 fiscal year.


Indie Wrestling News & Notes

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported Zack Sabre Jr. had to be pulled from a recent event for Westside Xtreme Wrestling due to contracting contagious bronchitis and not being allowed to travel to Germany due to health laws.

Wrestle Pro recently announced they are partnering with Impact Wrestling for an upcoming show on February 3rd in Rahway, New Jersey. The company will be taping content for Impact Wrestling with Eli Drake, Matt Sydal, Bobby Lashley, Moose, Alberto el Patron, Sonjay Dutt, Allie, KM, Braxton Sutter, Eddie Edwards, and Mario Bokara to appear on this show.

Pro Wrestling Revolution announced the card for their February 24th show at Mount Pleasant High School in San Jose, California features a PWR Championship match involving Ultimo Dragon versus champion El Hijo de Trump (Eli Drake in Impact). Also announced to be appearing for the show are CMLL’s Dragon Lee and Titan.
