Enzo Amore, real name Eric Arndt, has been released by WWE, they announced on wwe.com. Earlier in the week, Enzo had been suspended pending an investigation due to an accusation of rape while supplying and taking a cocktail of drugs, but the suspension has quickly turned to just being released. Enzo was not wished the best of luck in his future endeavors.
Why this has happened so quickly after the suspension announcement is unknown for now. The allegation is currently under investigation by the Phoenix police and according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, Enzo was aware of the allegations and investigation and decided to not tell WWE, which certainly will have contributed to the decision.
