Rey Mysterio will be traveling to Birmingham, Alabama later this week to get checked out by WWE’s doctors, according to PWInsider.
Mysterio reportedly has a grade 1 partially torn bicep, which, as of a couple of weeks ago, was said to be “not that serious” and probably wouldn’t require surgery.
If WWE checks him out and the injury turns out to not be that bad, there’s a good chance that he’ll sign a WWE deal soon. He was reportedly set to meet with Triple H on the day he got injured at the beginning of March, but Triple H had to postpone the meeting to go to Saudi Arabia.
