The New York Knicks currently are up 3 games to 1 against the San Antonio Spurs in this year’s NBA Finals with a potential series clinching Game 5 taking place tonight in San Antonio. The Knicks have has won 14 out of their 15 games since Danhausen uncursed the team after they went down 2-1 against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the First Round.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials are already discussing potential plans on how to use Danhausen at next month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event show at Madison Square Garden should the Knicks win the NBA Championship this NBA playoffs. WWE’s upcoming SNME show takes place on July 18th at the Knicks’ home arena in New York City.
It was reported that WWE officials are currently brainstorming additional “content and merch possibilities” for Danhausen at next month’s Fanatics Fest 2026 event, which also takes place in New York City.
One source spoken to reportedly stated that WWE officials expects to make Danhausen a fixture of the company’s promotion in the New York area should the Knicks win the championship.
