Jeff Hardy Backstage at Raw
Jeff Hardy is backstage at Raw tonight in Cleveland, OH, according to PWInsider. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that he’ll be on TV.
Jeff Hardy has been cleared by his surgeon and has been working out at the WWE Performance Center recently to prepare for his return.
He’s been out since undergoing surgery in early October for a torn rotator cuff and torn labrum.
Jeff is scheduled to team up with Matt Hardy to face The Bar in Saudi Arabia on April 27.
Rey Mysterio Vows to Wrestle in NJPW
Rey Mysterio was scheduled to face Jushin Liger at the NJPW Strong Style Evolved show last night, but Mysterio wasn’t able to wrestle due to his bicep injury.
However, he got on the mic and promised that he will wrestle in an NJPW ring again once he’s healthy. This lead to him being attacked by Marty Scurll, who took off his mask and wore it himself.
Will Ospreay wrestled Liger instead of Mysterio, then challenged Mysterio to a match.
So it looks like NJPW is planning on Mysterio wrestling for them again…
Interestingly, he is reportedly still in talks with WWE and was supposed to be checked out by WWE doctors last week, or possibly this week since there’s no word on if it happened already.
