Update on Charlotte Flair’s Injury Status

As noted before, Charlotte Flair has been out of action for WWE since suffering both dental and breast implant injuries earlier in the year.

In an update to Charlotte’s injury status, Charlotte was the guest on a recent episode of the Conversations With Maria Menounos radio show and one of the topics discussed involved her in-ring return to the WWE. Charlotte stated that she currently expects to be medically cleared from her recent breast implant surgery by July 31st.


Current Card for August 16th ROH Honor Re-United Event

ROH recently updated the card for their August 16th Honor Re-United event at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh, Scotland. The card currently features five matches including the Quarterfinals of the International Cup tournament.

* The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) & Marty Scurll versus Punishment Martinez & The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe).
* International Cup Quarterfinals match – Flip Gordon versus Kip Sabian.
* International Cup Quarterfinals match – Mark Haskins versus Jonathan Gresham.
* International Cup Quarterfinals match – Adam Page versus Joe Hendry.
* International Cup Quarterfinals match – Christopher Daniels versus Jimmy Havoc.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

PROGRESS Wrestling announced that Zack Sabre Jr. has been pulled from their September 30th event in London, England due to his current commitments with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Sabre Jr. is currently scheduled to appear at NJPW’s Fighting Spirit Unleashed event in Long Beach, California which also takes place on the same day. Besides Sabre Jr., Will Ospreay was also pulled from PROGRESS’s September 30th event due to his commitments for NJPW’s Fighting Spirit Unleashed event.

ROH announced that the card of their July 21st ROH TV tapings in Atlanta, Georgia features a singles match of Marty Scurll versus Kenny King, a singles match of Karen Q versus Jenny Rose, and a singles match of Jay Briscoe versus Christopher Daniels.

EVOLVE announced that the card of their August 4th event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania features an EVOLVE Championship match of Shane Strickland versus champion Matt Riddle.
