ROH News: Canada Shows, Creative Team, NYC Show, & More

The most recent ROH shows from Canada have been released on DVD. These shows were the first shows where Adam Pearce was in charge of booking. Commentary is said to be “a bit more fluid” as the announcers were largely left to themselves.

The Samoa Joe vs. Tyler Black Match from the Chicago PPV Taping will be an extra on the DVD release of the November 21st Dayton, Ohio event. ROH doesn’t release the full PPV taping DVD until after the PPV airs, so they are doing this to get the match out and to hopefully add to the sales of the Dayton DVD.

Ticket sales for this month’s New York City show are said to be really good, while the sales for the Philadelphia event are said to be doing “ok.”

The following matches have been added to the December 27th show at the old ECW Arena in Philadelphia:

* Roderick Strong and Brent Albright vs. Kensuke Sasaki and Nakajima
* Chris Hero vs. Erick Stevens
* Kenny Omega vs. Rhett Titus
* ROH champ Nigel McGuinness and Claudio Castagnoli vs. The American Wolves
