According to a post on the L.A. gossip blog Defamer.com, Mickey Rourke is having second thoughts about appearing at Wrestlemania. Rourke’s publicist issued the following statement to the gossip blog earlier today: “Mickey was very honored to be asked as he has the greatest respect for WWE however he will not be participating in Wrestle-Mania. He is focusing entirely on his acting career.” They posted another blog earlier in the day regarding his appearance on Larry King Live with Chris Jericho saying an appearance at WrestleMania could cost him the Oscar for his role in The Wrestler. They wrote: “Though Jericho was clearly into it, Rourke seemed withdrawn—perhaps realizing that the Academy likes to hand out awards that they think will encourage legitimate work, not paid faux-sports appearances on cable that Rourke could probably even have secured pre-comeback.”
Starting this Sunday, the weekly replay of Raw on mun2 will be airing at 6:00 p.m instead of Wednesday nights.
