As noted earlier this morning here on the website, the Von Erich family, as a group, will be inducted into the 2009 WWE Hall of Fame. Kevin Von Erich, along with his children, will accept the honor for the family at the ceremony, which takes place in Houston, Texas the night before WrestleMania XXV. It is not confirmed, but it looks as if Michael Hayes will induct the Von Erich family. Hayes, as part of the Fabulous Freebirds, was the greatest nemesis of the Von Erich’s.

The 2009 Hall of Fame class will now include Steve Austin, The Von Erich Family, Bill Watts, Ricky Steamboat, Terry Funk and Dory Funk Jr.

Announced for tonight’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi is Tommy Dreamer vs. The Miz. The show will air LIVE tonight prior to the SD! taping.
