» Former TNA wrestler Matt Bentley has left the wrestling business and is now playing guitar for a rock band called “Lost in Chaos” in the Tampa and Orlando area. His band was recently nominated for Florida’s Best Band on a local rock station website. Bentley had a tryout at WWE’s developmental promotion Florida Championship Wrestling last spring, but was not offered a contract. He also made an appearance on the episode of SmackDown following WrestleMania XXIV in a squash match, losing to Vladimir Kozlov in his debut.
» TNA has taken over additional space in the soundstage next to the Impact Zone. The new space is used to house the sets of Jeff Jarrett’s office, the Main Event Mafia’s locker room, Booker T’s locker room, the hallway that is often seen on TNA programming during the walk to the ring and the baby face locker room.
» Thanks to site reader William in Florida for sending the following note: I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I spotted Scott Steiner on Friday afternoon across the street from my work where he was walking out of a real estate agent’s office. Normally I wouldn’t send in something so trivial but I recall reading a report that stated he was in such bad shape after matches that he couldn’t bend down to pick up something off the floor in a hotel. Well, he dropped his sunglasses and picked them up just fine while getting into his vehicle, so perhaps the sources were exaggerating the lengths of his injuries. He did have a slight limp though. Steiner seems completely normal when he’s out of character, aside from the fact that he is huge and has a weird goatee.
