As noted before, Drew McIntyre has been dealing with an elbow injury since WWE’s WrestleMania 40 event this past April. McIntyre was recently announced to be one of the competitors for this year’s King of the Ring tournament and was scheduled to face off against Finn Balor in a First Round match.
WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce announced on Twitter that McIntyre has been pulled from this year’s King of the Ring tournament due to him not being medically cleared to compete at tonight’s RAW show.
A replacement opponent for McIntyre’s scheduled tournament match against Balor was not given.
