Sporting News has an interview up with Ohio State’s James Laurinaitis (son of Road Warrior Animal/Joeseph Lauriantis) where he answers an interesting question below. If I wasn’t being drafted, I’d be applying for a job in… “The WWE without question. There’s nothing like the family business. My dad was part of arguably the most famous tag-team duo of all time, and my uncle is a senior VP there now. I’m not sure if I’d be into the tights, and I’d have to think about a great name, but I think that I possess the athleticism and personality to have some fun with it.”
Here are some of the highlights of the Boston Herald interview with John Cena. Cena said filming the stunts for the upcoming 12 Rounds movie was tough on him, especially the ones filmed on tall points. “I have an undying fear of heights and ledges, so rappelling off a 10-story building was tough,” Cena said. Cena said he used his experience playing to an audience in the wrestling ring to help develop his character in the movie, Detective Danny Fisher. “You do the best you can to make your character the best you feel you can,” Cena said. “There’s no right or wrong. So, you’re essentially always learning and everything’s a challenge.” Cena added he is getting married to his high school sweetheart from West Newbury, Massachusetts this summer. “July’s coming up pretty quick,” Cena told the Boston Herald.
