JBL’s ‘Historic’ ‘Mania, CM Punk Note, Diva Battle, More

Featuring Divas from Raw, SmackDown, ECW and WWE’s storied past, “the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania” will host a 25-Diva Battle Royal to crown the first ever “Miss WrestleMania.” WWE has yet to officially confirm the participants in the match.

After weeks of in-ring disappointment, John Bradshaw Layfield finally came out on top by defeating CM Punk to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion on Raw. WWE.com asks: “Has this victory ensured that JBL will, in fact, make history at WrestleMania?”

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion CM Punk is scheduled to appear at the First Annual Epiphone Revolver Golden Gods Awards — a hard rock and heavy metal award show. The show will be broadcast on MTV2 as a one-hour special debuting Saturday, May 2, 2009.
