John Bradshaw Layfield has posted a blog acknowledging Rey Mysterio’s challenge to him at WrestleMania. “Got brand new boots for Wrestlemania, first time to wear them,” Layfield wrote. “Not sure why Rey Mysterio is so stupid to challenge me on such a historic occasion, but he will be the one that suffers.”
As noted earlier, WWE’s official website has announced two big matches for tonight’s edition of WWE RAW. WWE World Champion Edge vs. Big Show – WWE.com Preview: “After their altercation on SmackDown left the object of their affections – GM Vickie Guererro – laid out in the ring, World Heavyweight Champion Edge and Big Show break their truce and go one-on-one tonight on Raw.” Triple H vs. Randy Orton & Ted DiBiase in a Handicap Match – WWE.com Preview: “WWE Champion Triple H will do anything to get his hands on Randy Orton, even if it means facing two men in a single match. After decimating Cody Rhodes last week, The Game faces Orton & Ted DiBiase in a Handicap Match live on Raw.”
A number of people are wondering why WWE didn’t bother to acknowledge the passing of longtime wrestler Andrew “Test” Martin” on any of their shows last week. Regarding this, I’ve tried to contact numerous people but all I can get is “no comment.”
