There is said to be talk within WWE about doing some type of a reality show reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The two ideas being presented involve either bringing back Tough Enough or doing a version of “Surreal Life” featuring a group of WWE stars from the past living in a house.
The general feeling was that Vince McMahon would not approve of the second idea as he wouldn’t want former stars looking down-and-out, especially with “The Wrestler” painting a picture that he wasn’t exactly fond of either. It would appear bringing back Tough Enough is more likely, although the big question is that it would add more to a production crew already stretched for time with a current schedule that will soon see the addition of the weekly “Superstars” show on WGN starting this April. It would also present a bigger work load for the creative crew as well who have been described as being stretched beyond its limits right now.
