Adam Sharrock sent this in: I don’t know how significant this is, but recently DirecTV changed the title listing for TNA Impact to “TNA Wrestling”. My DVR wouldn’t record my previous schedule recording of TNA Impact since that title didn’t exist anymore. Just thought I’d give a heads up to any other DirecTV customers out there.
Sean Melendres sent this in: Hi! I don’t know if this is newsworthy. It’s a little curious, though: The set of “WWE Vintage Collection” had some new posters, among them one of Sting. Since its inception, the show has exclusively featured matches, promos, and backstage segments from the WWF and definitely none of Sting. Nonetheless, Sting is a welcome sight.
Various wrestling media are reporting that TNA Mobile sent out another text on Friday stating that the company has signed another former world champion from another organization and to tune into the Lockdown PPV to find out. So the company is now promising two former world champions at the PPV tonight in Philadelphia. It should be noted that the term “world champion” has been used pretty loosely when TNA has done this in the past counting any form of a singles or tag team title as a world champion.
