The Miami Herald has a story on the father of the Hardys, Gil Hardy, watching his two sons feud on WWE programming. Matt said: “When I did that one promo where I came out, and at the very end I held up the dog collar, I talked to my dad the next day and said, `Did you watch SmackDown last night?’ He said, ‘Yeah, I almost wished I didn’t even watch that %$#@.’ It put me in a bad mood,’ but then he said he should know better, and he’s been around it a long time, and he knows what the deal is. He’s cool. He’s rolling with it and enjoying it.’
The city of Vero Beach, Florida recently passed a new ordinance, banning wrestling, boxing, and kick boxing in venues that sell alcohol. This also includes jell-o, oil, and mud wrestling. There is an exemption to the ordinance, which is for buildings with a fixed seating of 1,000 or more.
