As noted earlier, the rating is in for last night’s WWE RAW and it appears Donald Trump’s one and only show as the owner of Raw was a blockbuster success.
As we posted earlier, the June 22nd edition of WWE Raw drew a 4.5 cable rating, way up from last week’s “Three-For-All” show, which did a 3.7 (and a 3.9 for the final 2 hours).
For last nights show, the first hour did 4.2 rating with 6.3 million viewers, while the second hour shot up to a 4.8 rating with 7.3 million viewers.
While last night’s show was a special event in that it was the first ever commercial-free Raw, the last time RAW did a 4.5 rating for a 2-hour show was back in January 2006.
As we reported earlier, WWE issued a press release this afternoon stating that while Trump is no longer the owner of Raw, his feud with Vince McMahon is probably not over. With a rating like this, you can understand why.
