Edge’s WWE Return?, Backstage WWE News, Brisco

» Negotiations have continued by WWE in attempts to get the old Mid South Wrestling tape library owned by Bill Watts’ ex-wife Ene Watts. WWE has been trying to purchase the collection for many years, but the price tag from Ene Watts has been too high (Bill Watts has nothing to do with the negotiations). Ene reportedly has been attempting to negotiate a contract for Erik Watts as a wrestler as part of the deal and WWE is understandably not big on it.

» There is still no definitive return date set for Edge, who is recovering from recent foot surgery. The hope is that he can return in time for WrestleMania season to work a program with Chris Jericho.

» As noted earlier, WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco underwent heart surgery a few weeks ago and was described as being in great spirts afterwards. The surgery saw doctors go up through an artery in his leg to close several birth defects in his heart which was never discovered until he had a series of strokes around a month ago. He is expected to make a full recovery.
