Punk offered his hand and Hardy, after hesitation and nearly leaving the ring, finally shook it. Punk quietly returned to the locker room.
Hardy made his way around ringside for a long time, signing autographs and celebrating. WWE told him to grab a facepainted kid from the second row. Hardy did, brought the child in the ring and they did Hardy’s dance together while the child wore the World title belt.
